Dogs on a Bench

We are TheDogBlog

A trainer, a walker, a marketeer...

What is the Dog Blog

We are a group of pet care professionals here to give you the inside scoop on the industry.

Looking after your dog can be confusing. There's so much information it can be difficult to know who to trust and where to turn to for advice. We aim to make that easier.

By sharing our experiences, where we have gone wrong, what we have done right. What has worked for us and what hasn't we will help point you in the right direction

The Trainer

Having worked with dogs for 15 years following a long career with horses I have seen all sorts.

I want to help you build the best bond with your dog, but also get the best out of your trainer.

The Marketeer

Ok, I'm really the insurance nerd, but dressing things up and making them look pretty is marketing, right??

Hopefully you wont see much of me, but I am here to help answer some common questions around one of the most expensive parts of pet ownership. Plus, a few other things like accessing and paying for vet treatments

The Walker

After years working in the city I decided to set up my own business as a dog walker. I definitely wouldn't say I've left the rat race- I've never worked so hard!

My diary is packed with regulars, but also I often help people out of a last minute jam. Have a question for a dog walker but too afraid to ask?

Dog Walking

The Vet Nurse

I qualified as a vet nurse after finishing a degree in marine biology. You name it, we see it! Lots of people say no two days at work are the same- that is certainly true if you work with animals

About TheDogBlog

Sometime it seems that there are no right answers, and sometimes it seems that there are just too many of them! Have you ever asked a question about your dog on Facebook, to google or even your trainer and just left more confused than when you started?

There is so much advice available now- sometimes it can be difficult to know where to start.

Here at TheDogBlog we wont say we've seen all of it, but sometimes it feels like we have. We won't tell you the right answers, but hopefully we'll give you insight on how the professionals think to empower you to start making better decisions for both you and your dog.

There's no such thing as a stupid question. If you want us to cover it, let us know...

Thanks for submitting!
